Does ArborPLUS prune my trees?

No, ArborPLUS is not a tree pruning company. ArborPLUS is a service that inventories and surveys your trees for the online ArborPLUS program in which these trees can be managed.

What happens when I miss a years recommendation / don’t do all the work recommended?

If you miss a year’s recommendation or don’t do all of the recommended work for that year, the work will roll over into the next year.

What if tree work was done outside of ArborPLUS recommendations?

You can go onto the Tree Detail page and edit/add those recommendations in the history.

What happens after the first round of recommendations?

Based on tree size, species and structure, the trees are on a 2-6 year pruning cycle. For example, because Eucalyptus tend to grow quickly, generally, they are to be pruned every 3 years. Whereas Pines, which grow much slower, can be on a 5 year pruning cycle.

What happens when I plant new trees?

If you plant a new tree/s either we can go out to your property and inventory those trees, or you can send us a picture and specify it’s location and we will add them into the database.

What happens when we turn over a new manager?

Your system administrator can set up the new manager with a new login and password, or you can email us and we can do it. All of the same information will be accessible to the new manager.

How does ArborPLUS insure the quality of the contractors?

Before we add contractors/vendors to our system, we verify their licenses, ISA certifications and qualifications.
